Top 10 US Cities with the highest inflation rates

Consumer Price Index (CPI) data show that inflation rates in the Sun Belt are above average and are close to 10%.

According to Labor Department figures, inflation increased by 0.1% since last month but is down from its June peak of 9.1%, for a year-over-year rate of 8.3%.

Every American has experienced the growing expense of products and services due to the eye-watering inflation rate of 8.3% as of August.

Personal finance website WalletHub evaluated 23 of the top U.S. metro regions using CPI data and gave them a score out of 100, with 100 representing the highest rate of inflation.
