Bajaj Finance Q2 Results: Company posts highest-ever quarterly profit of Rs. 2,781 crore, up 88% year over year.

Bajaj Finance said today that its Q2 earnings increased by 88% year over year to Rs 2,781 crore.

The NBFC recorded its highest-ever quarterly profit during this period.

According to the business, gross and net non-performing assets as of the end of September were 0.24% and 0.11%, respectively, compared to 0.39% and 0.24% in the same time last year.

Loan losses and provisions at Bajaj Finance for the second quarter were Rs 734 crore as opposed to Rs 1,300 crore.

The company claimed that at the end of the most recent quarter, it had a management and macroeconomic overlay of Rs 1,000 crore.

By 30 September 2022, there were 62.91 million customers, up 19% from 52.80 million over the same period in the previous year.

Consolidated deposits at Bajaj Finance increased by 37% during the quarter to reach Rs 39,422 crore.
