Authorities reported three people were killed and 11 others were injured in a shooting in downtown Philadelphia on Saturday night.
The shootings took occurred on iconic streets that have long been popular gathering spots in the area.
Inspector D. F. Pace of the Philadelphia Police Department examines evidence at the scene of a shooting on South Street that left three people dead and 11 others injured.
Officials have only revealed that one of the victims was a 25-year-old guy and the other was a 22-year-old woman.
According to Inspector Pace, one of the officers fired at one of the assailants, although it was unclear whether the gunman was struck.
