'DWTS': Shangela Performs a Drag dnce with a "death drop," 

The first drag queen to participate on "Dancing With the Stars" decried Saturday's deadly shooting at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado 

and asked for "sharing more love and less hatred" while performing in the show's finale on Disney+.

The remarks were made by D.J. "Shangela" Pierce, 40, who was the first male celebrity competitor paired with a man professional dancer on Monday's 31st season finale. 

"There is a lot happening in our world and in our country right now, so the emotions have been strong.

In Colorado Springs, there was a mass shooting and a terrible tragedy, Shangela claimed on "DWTS, 

"two nights after a shooter at the LGBTQ nightclub Club Q killed five people and injured 25 more.

Title 1Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, is being held without bond and could face five counts of murder 

and five counts of conducting a bias-motivated crime resulting in physical harm.
